  1. Aloha,
my name is Zephaniah and I am a part of doing the SLJ aswell as you are. I see that you have completed much of the activities. Tino pai! I loved reading your creative poem. Just for some helpful information, you may need to read closely at the instructions on the site. This was an awesome poem and it was so up lifting.

  2. Kia ora Hannah,

Wow, what a beautiful poem! I really like your opening line; 'glimmer' is a lovely choice of word. Well done for going above and beyond and adding two extra words as well ('the' and 'southern').
Have you seen the Southern Lights before? I haven't been lucky enough to see them yet but I do hope to. Although, from reading the information linked to this activity, it seems living in Auckland with all of the city lights makes this quite difficult. It seems like camping somewhere far away from artificial lights would be my best bet.

Well done on completing another activity.

    Talk soon,

    Mikey :)

  3. Kia ora Hannah,

Well done for completing another Summer Learning Journey post, keep up the awesome work!

I would just like to say, what a beautiful poem you have written! It really captures the reader and gives a sense of what seeing the Southern Lights would really be like. I haven't been lucky enough to see them but hopefully I will one day in the future. Have you written any other poems before?

I look forward to seeing more Summer Learning Journey posts from you.

Until next time, happy blogging. :)

What a great poem. love your use of words like glimmer, and 'dazzles'... the southern lights must be amazing, yet I have never seen them. I'd love you to share other poems you may have written.
