The Plastic Pledge

2 comments:

  1. Ata mārie Hannah,

It is a pain when you forget your reusable bags, isn't it? I try to leave a few in my car so that, when I do go to the supermarket, I always have some with me. Although, sometimes I forget to put them back after unpacking my groceries and I don't realise until the next time I'm at the supermarket! When this happens, I buy a new $1 bag at the checkout as a way of holding myself accountable. I have quite a few reusable bags now :/

To further reduce my plastic usage, I use a bamboo toothbrush and shampoo and condition bars which last as long as FIVE bottles do! Isn't that great? What environmentally-friendly things do you and your family do? :)

Well done on finishing another activity Hannah.

    Blog ya later!

    Mikey :)

  2. Hello, Hannah!

I think countdown getting rid of plastic bags is definitely a good thing. New Zealand is one step closer to making sure their marine life is healthy, and the environment in general. Forgetting your reusable bags is your fault, though, and can be solved by making sure you have reusable bags in your car at all times. I loved your post but be make sure to check for problems next time!

    Happy blogging
