ReplyDeleteThat's a great point. Stories of taniwha date back 100 of years ago so they would have to be able to live for a very long time. I like that it was thought that they could shapeshift - maybe once one form gets too old, they transform into a younger form/animal so that they can live longer. That would be quite a cool power to have, don't you think?
