ReplyDeleteIt's so great to hear that the local communities are trying to combat the pollution of these rivers. It's sad that it's come down to this, and people weren't able to look after them in the first place. Were you able to find out what they're doing to raise the $600,000?
There's a river up north (where I'm from) where you can swim under a waterfall that often gets closed to the public due to pollution from the nearby farms. It's sad to think how much of a negative impact we (humans) are having on our environment, isn't it? But it's wonderful that there's so many people out there who are trying to undo the mess we've made.
