That's a great reason to want to try flax weaving - the weaved creations aren't only decorative, but practical as well! What kinds of things would you like to make? I remember doing flax weaving when I was at primary school. We made flowers and kete (baskets). I think my mum and dad still have them at their house. The flax is all faded and brown now though.
