You've come up with some really thoughtful questions for Sir Ed. I imagine it would have been quite a scary thing to do. Are there any mountains where you live? There's quite a few here in Auckland. None are as tall as Mount Everest but many of them used to be volcanoes! My favourite one to climb is called Rangitoto - once at the top, you can see beautiful views of the city and harbour.
