Towering Timbers

  1. Hi Hannah,

Congratulations on completing another activity! :)

You've made a really strong argument for why we shouldn't allow logging in New Zealand. It's quite a tough decision to make, especially when you think about all the jobs logging creates for New Zealanders. Not to mention all of the uses we have for wood. Do you have any ideas on alternative materials we could use to build our homes so that we don't have to chop down as many trees?

I can't wait to hear your thoughts. Until then, happy blogging :)

    1. Thank you for commenting back! To build homes you could use steel frames and bricks. Did you know that steel frames help the building by supporting the walls, roof and floors. Talk to you later:)
