  1. Ata mārie Hannah!

Well done on completing another activity. :)

It would be quite disappointing to find out that you're not able to visit Machu Picchu, wouldn't it? I guess you'd just have to be extra organised and plan your trip well in advance. Have you been to South America before?

I'm in two minds about the issue because I also think it is super important to protect and preserve historical sights like this. There are quite a few landmarks and buildings where I'm from (Russell) that are a huge part of New Zealand's history and it would be very sad to see them damaged and for future generations not to be able to enjoy them. So I can understand where the Peru government are coming from.

    Blog ya later!

    Mikey :)

  2. Hello, Hannah!

I respectfully disagree with your opinion on why I'ts unfair to let only a certain amount of people go to Machu Picchu every year. We want to take care of our environment and having too many people go there at once can be hard to keep track of. Having only a certain amount of people going each year makes sure that everyone is following certain rules to make sure that the environment is clean and green. Perhaps next time you could describe which activity you are doing and what Machu Picchu is so that people who don't know what that is can learn more from your blog posts.

    Happy blogging
